Brian P. Moore Obituary

Age 49, of Mankato passed unexpectedly of a cardiac event in Inver Grove Heights, MN on July 12, 2021. Born in Minneapolis to Paul and Irene Moore on July 13, 1971, Brian was the oldest of 4 and took big brother-ing seriously. His 18-year marriage to Jennifer (Elliott) Moore was a source of joy and pride. So were his 2 sons, Cole and Jacob and his grandson Mason.

His love of family, coffee and books was apparent to all who knew him. He was a kind and unfailingly generous friend, who loved his family deeply, as well as books, coffee, jokes, and laughter. Much like his father, Brian was a baby whisperer and could soothe a crying baby or amuse a bored one at any time, in every circumstance, and he loved doing it. He had a subtle, wry sense of humor and a warm caring heart. For nearly 20 years he was a dedicated and revered employee of US Bank, always working hard at any job he had.

Brian is survived by his wife, Jennifer; son, Cole Johnson (Kaylee Cherro) of Duluth; son, Jacob Moore of Mankato; grandson, Mason Johnson of Duluth; his mother, Irene Moore; his brothers, Adam (Denise Schwerzmann) and Kevin Moore (Noel VanDenBosch); his sister, Katie Odegaard (Ross Odegaard); mother-in-law, Barbara Joyce of Honolulu, HI; his nephews and nieces; and many relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Moore of St. Paul; all his grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
