Tamara Hope DiLauro
On May 21st, Tammy passed away suddenly, following a car accident in Columbus, Ohio, where she resided. Born on March 2, 1971, Tammy grew up in Greentown, Ohio and was a 1989 graduate of Hoover High School in North Canton. She pursued college courses while building a career in banking working for BancOne/JP Morgan Chase in Akron and Columbus. Tammy received her BS in Human Resource Management from Franklin University in 2009. She was employed as an HR professional at the bank.
As she joins Grandma in God's hands, Tammy is survived by parents Donna and Joe DiLauro of Greentown, grandparents Oscar and Betty Comstock, brothers Joe (Traci) DiLauro and Todd (Cindy) DiLauro, and sister Susan (Louie) Angelo. She loved and doted on her nieces and nephews Amanda, Max, Adam, Amelia, Coree, Alec, and Libby.
Tammy is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as special friends and cohorts Kristi and Colleen.
After a lengthy search, Tammy located her biological siblings, Mike, Carol, Denise, Susan, and Michelle, and was able to connect with them and their families.
Tammy was a loving, giving and gracious person who had a great love of God, family, and friends. She believed in giving of herself and helping others in need, which she did through her participation in local charitable causes including her committed involvement with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Tammy truly enjoyed the companionship of her cats. She had a contagious smile, the most beautiful big brown eyes, a generous heart and kind spirit. She was loved by all and will be sadly missed.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 5-8 pm and Wednesday, May 26, 10-11 am at the Reed Funeral Home at 801 Pittsburg Ave. in North Canton. A service, celebrating Tammy's life, will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday.
