I remember Wade from elementary school. He was always a quiet young man. I don't know what happened to him, but I found his obituary and online guest book via the Star Telegram.

Mr. Whatley had been employed with the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD for 22 years. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and motorcycle riding. He was also an avid NASCR fan.
He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Survivors: Wife, Cindy Whatley; mother, Bonnie Whatley of North Richland Hills; son, Michael Whatley of Hampton, Va.; daughter, Lauren Whatley of Hurst; stepchildren, Tyler Layman and Nikki Layman; brothers, Wayne Whatley of Parker County and William Whatley and wife, Lisa, of Granbury; nephew, Isaac Whatley; and many dear friends.
