I dunno...what do you guys think?

Ultimitely beam shaping will offer many benefits, however first we must achieve power densities that will be high enough to truly take advantage of the benefits of beam shaping.

How do we get to those densities? As you know, Mitch and I were working on the cyanide system. however that didn't achieve the goals.  it came to me. It is possible to synthesize excited bromide in an argon matrix. It's an excimer frozen in its excited state.

As soon as we apply a field, we couple to a state, it is radiatively coupled to the ground state. I figure we can extract at least 10 to the 21st photons per cubic centimeter which will give one kilojoule per cubic centimeter at 600 nanometers, or, one megajoule per liter.

toodles!

C~

Hmm.  Interesting.  I'd ask who "Mitch" is, but then Pete would probably have to explain it to you, first! ;)

Brian, well I found it on some webpage...you caught me :)

hey...  A for trying?
