Timothy Berg

Timothy “Tim” Berg, age 46, of North Ridgeville, passed away Friday, November 14, 2008 at St. John West Shore Hospital, Westlake, following a sudden illness.
 

Born in Elyria, he was a resident of North Ridgeville for most of his life.
Mr. Berg work for the North Ridgeville Service Department for the last three years.
He was a member of Great Lakes International Association of Antique Fire Apparatus.
Tim enjoyed antique fire trucks, snowmobiling, jet skiing and going to Indy Car races.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Marilyn (nee Ternes); parents, Harry and Rosemary Berg of North Ridgeville; brother, Harry (Nadine) Berg Jr. of Medina, sister, Terri Bacsi of Penfield Twp. and several nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by grandparents, Sam and Rose Nagy and Edith Hoffman.
Friends may call Monday from 6-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00AM in the funeral home.
Rev. John Fairweather, Pastor of First Congregational United Church of Christ, will officiate.
Burial will be in Ridgeville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Ridgeville Fire Museum, 7090 Avon Belden Road, North Ridgeville, Ohio 44039.

I cannot remember what classes we shared but I have lots of memories of Tim and they always included laughter!  He was a funny and kind person.

I saw Tim in 2005 he had just started at the service garage. He and I were at L.C.J.V.S. together. I remember he used to allways call Frank Detory uncle Frank. He was allways fun to be around and he allways had a smile on his face thats when you knew he was up to somthing. I will miss my friend.
