In Memory

Teresa Hardin

This was shared by her cousin Lois Roberts....thank you Lois!!!

Teresa Hardin was my cousin.  Our mother's are sisters.  Teresa died unexpectedly in October 1994.  It was a tragedy for our entire family.   My family moved to N. Ridgeville, Ohio from Florida in 1975.  It was wonderful to live near my cousins and spend time with them.  Since our mother's were very close sisters, we spent alot of time together.  I have so many memories of those years, too many to note here.  It was special to attend 8th grade graduation together, enter our high school years  together eventually sharing high school commencement.  I want to let everyone know that Teresa packed so much into her 14 years of adulthood following high school. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Megan.  Megan lost her mom when she was 8 years old. She has grown into a lovely, wonderful young women. I have been priveleged to be a part of her daughter's life as she has grown up.  Teresa loved life, her family, and made the most of every day of her life.  She was a very special individual that our family cherished.  Looking back, I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to share those early years with her and would not have traded them for the world.

Teresa was one of my Best Friends through out high school and any memories I have of those years include her.  She was quiet but very loving and funny. She was taken from us much too soon and I think of her all the time.

Teresa always had a smile on her face that would light up a room...such a sweet spirit!

I remember when I heard the news about Teresa years ago.. my heart sunk. I still think about her.  Quiet but with a great sense of humor and adventure. Not many people would think this but she talked me into jumping out of a perfectly good airplane with her in the fall of 1980.  Teresa had a smile on her face more often than not and is still missed.

I have added senior photo's of Teresa.

For those who don't know, Teresa died suddenly of a dissected aorta in October, 1994.  Actor John Ritter died of the same condition.  It is rare and not typically detected.  She was loved by many and will truly be missed at the class reunion.
