Claire was a dear friend of mine.  We went to the 10 year reunion together.  I didn't know that she passed away,  if anyone can provide me details, I would love to hear what happened.  Rest in pease Claire.

Hello all,

Claire had been quite ill for some time, having been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in 1981.  After suffering for nearly twenty years with her condition, she was diagnosed with Colon Cancer in 1999, while residing in New Hampshire.  She fought hard against her terrible foe, until she succumbed to it on May 8, 2002.

I truly miss Claire each and every day and there aren't many days that go by, that I don't find myself thinking about her.  She was especially close to my daughter, Desiree, who adored her "Aunty Claire" and who often talks about all of the things they did together.  My entire family feels the loss of Claire and her big loving heart everyday.  We pray for her and all those who suffer with cancer, and hope for a cure in the near future.

Please keep Claire and all the victims of cancer in your thoughs and prayers.

Best regards,

Bob Plante

Bob,

So sorry to hear about Claire's death. The last time I saw her was at your house when I was dropping my daughter off for Desiree's birthday party...probably her 7th or 8th birthday. I did not even recognize her until she started talking to me. It was like our own small surprise reunion then.
