This is very nice, Julia. Thank you. I had thought about Kathy a number of times over the years without having the satisfaction of knowing where she was. I remembered a very gentle and affectionate sensitivity in her which touched me more than once in my memories.
i was so very sad to read about this. i just found old letters in the attic from her. kathy was one of my true friends at north springs. we were new there and she befriended me. she made me feel safe in a very hostile environment (a new high school, whew!) i still have a piece of her artwork hanging in my home. i loved kathy very much. she was a warm, sensitive and generous girl with an enormous amount of talent. my deepest sympathies to her loved ones.
