My good friend and bandmate. Tim was the jock that made up our band FREOCK. For those who remember it stood for three freaks and a jock. Great guy who helped make North Springs come together. I wish I had known sooner. Rest in peace friend. Make time and take time for your friends and family and let them know you care.
Tim Watts was indeed a classmate who made friends in every group and always worked to bring everyone together. He entertained us all on our Senior Cruise as the "Gay Continental" and later became very involved with Young Life. We were fortunate to have Tim come back into our lives while we were still in Sandy Springs and he had come back to take care of a parent. He made an impact on our kids who were pre-teens and teenagers at the time with his positive attitude and no-nonsense "Tim Watts School of Tough Love". The last time we saw Tim was when he stayed with us for a few days around our 25th High School Reunion. We had a wonderful time with he and a woman he had fallen in love with and it was obvious to us that Tim had found real happiness. Tim's favorite phrase for keeping life in perspective was "Nothing eternal hangs on it" and my husband, Charles, uses it occasionally now with fond memories of a good friend.
