Jeffrey L. Eckenrode, of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal rest, unexpectedly, Thursday, October 22, 2009, at the age of 49. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, Jeffrey was currently employed as the counter manager at Shanor Electric (Hinman Ave.), where he worked for over twenty-nine years. Son of the late Louis "Eck" and Elsie Eckenrode; dearest brother of Nancy (Stephen) Zaleski of the Town of Tonawanda; cherished uncle of Stephanie Zaleski of Florida and Ryan (Katrina) Zaleski of North Carolina; and great uncle of Jaykob Zaleski; also survived by an aunt, an uncle, cousins and his many friends.
