Eric R. Gieske, 39, of Northampton, Pa., died Sunday, November 15, 2009, at the home of his parents. Born in Allentown, Pa., he was the son of Paul and Janice (Florey) Gieske. Eric worked for several independent sub-contracting carpet installers serving the Lehigh Valley for over 10 years. He formerly worked in the same capacity for Crest Wholesale Carpets of Allentown, Pa. for several years. Eric was a member of the Petersville Rod & Gun Club. He attended both Kutztown University and Northampton Community College pursuing credits in Business Management. He enjoyed Mountain Biking and Fishing. Survivors: Parents; brother, Malcolm A and wife Laura Gieske of Northampton, Pa.; aunts, uncles and cousins. Services: 10 a.m. Friday, November 20, 2009 at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, Pa 18067, where the family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2009.
