Hi guys! Glen Hodge here. I was in Vietnam Nam 1967-68 and was very surprised to hook up with Bob Foley at the same location where I was stationed! I saw him a couple of times before he shipped out, only to lose contact with him before he died! It was great being around someone from " home" even as short as the time was... I think about him a lot! Hope to see y'all in September!!
When at Great Lakes in boot camp, Bob and I had a chance meeting in the chow line. We were able to meet up a couple of times at the rec hall over cokes and shooting pool. After reading the comment from Jim Cox, I found on the MySouthboro site more details of his passing. Evidently we were both in Quang Tri during the fall of '68. Had we known we certainly would have connected. I'm sorry we missed that opportunity at that time in our lives.
