Survived by his wife Anne, daughter Katie (Katherine) and son Jed (Jedidiah).
Andrew was a talented writer. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1980 and was awarded the Hopwood Award, a program credited with launching many student writers' careers in the arts, in Drama for his work, "The Great Divide."
Andrew was a former writer-producer for "Saturday Night Live", who with writing partner, Eliot Wald penned several produced films including "Down Periscope," "Camp Nowhere" and "See No Evil, Hear No Evil."
