OBINGER, DALE A man of great energy and spirit passed away on February 12, 2012. He was 53. We will never forget his keen sense of humor, brilliant smile and fun loving attitude. Dale will be remembered as honest, hard working and good hearted. He was kind to everyone he met, and loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He received many honors and awards as a salesman in the Toy Industry. His interest always focused on family and friends. He enjoyed camping, boating, playing softball and roller hockey, and watching all Chicago sports teams. He loved to dance, and was always the life of the party. He especially took great pleasure in watching his son play ice hockey and daughter figure skate. Beloved husband, father, brother and friend was born and raised in Northfield, IL. He attended New Trier West High School and Bethel College in St. Paul, MN. He moved to San Diego in 1985. His infectious laugh brought many joyful memories to his loving wife Diana, his children Eric and Heather, parents Paul and Carol of Arlington Hts IL, the families of his brother Todd and sister Cheryl, and many other cherished relatives and friends. A celebration of his life will be held on February 23rd at 11:00 am, at The Church at Rancho Bernardo, 11740 Bernardo Plaza Ct, CA 92128. With burial service immediately following at Dearborn Memorial Park, 14361 Tierra Bonita Rd, Poway, CA 92064.
