In the morning of February 10, 2021, Geri Kohler Callahan passed away. May you rest in peace Geri. You are Loved and you are sorely missed.
The Geri Kohler Callahan Memorial
On Thursday, March 18th 2021, we will be holding a memorial and ash spreading for Geri Kohler Callahan. Geri wished to have her ashes spread beneath the trees of a forest preserve.
Friends, family, acquaintances and associates who knew Geri are asked to attend. We will gather at Illinois Beach State Park at 1:00PM where anyone who wishes to share their happy experiences with Geri will be more than welcome to speak.
Even though this will be an outdoor event, masks will be required and we ask that all attendees remain 6 feet apart from others. If you attend, please, Geri would not have wanted a single person to catch Covid over her memorial, so please, observe these rules out of respect for Geri if not for any other reason.
Please feel free to dress appropriately for the weather. I am not sure if it will be warm, cold, raining or snow on the 18th.
We will have a lunch available after the ash spreading. Weather permitting, we will have the lunch at the park, but should the weather not cooperate, we will re-gather at Geri’s home for lunch.
