Shocked & saddened is an understatement at the news of Karen's passing. We weren't friends in high school, but made an instant connection at the 40th reunion. At that time, Karen was living in Pennsylvania and vowed a get togther on one of her return trips to the Midwest. Unfortunately, we weren't able to make that happen.
We must live in the here and now and grab life with gusto; for we never know when our time is up on this earth.
Rest in peace, Karen. You will be sorely missed...
