Cindy Greenbaum Phillips, age 53, beloved wife and best friend of Tom for over 22 wonderful years; cherished and loving mother of Audrey and Alex Phillips; dearest sister of Jeffrey Greenbaum and Gary (Meg) Greenbaum; loving daughter of Lois Lapine; niece of Helene Beermann; best friend of Ellyse Gerskowitz and Susan Schultz. Her close friends will dearly miss her. Cindy was an outstanding kind spirit who touched the lives of everyone she met. She leaves behind a legacy of love and light that will never be forgotten. I just learned of her passing and feel so bad about this. We lived in the same building in 1982, and she helped me out of a terrible jam I was in at the time. I will forever be in her debt. I was hoping to see her at the reunion to personally thank her. May she rest in peace.
