Lonnie L. Sweazy passed away of a heart attack at age 62 on January 8, 2001.

Survived By: Christopher, Trudy, & Mitchell Sweazy & stepson Mark Haban. Preceeded in deathbyson Michael Raymond Sweazy Also survived by Bonnie Kelly-Sweazy Class of 1960. Also 8 grandchildren.
 

Lonnie was tapped by the Goodyear recuiters who came to Norton High School seeking top students who didn't yet have college plans, to induct into their Executive Training program. They sent him thru 4 years of school & he remained in their employment from the age of 18 until his retirement 44 yrs later at the age of 62. Unfortunately his retirement time was cut short after only about six months by a heart attack in his sleep. He had been married to Joann Gleisinger, & subsequently to Bonnie Kelly (Class of 1960), thereby gaining a stepson Mark Haban (Class of 198?)(who is now also deceased). In addition to Trudy, Chris, & Mitch, survived by 5 sibling grads, Bill, Jerry, Terry, Tony, & Kathi Sweazy. (Shaffer)
