Raczok, John 1/9/1949 - 9/25/2016 Hesperia John M. Raczok, age 67 of Hesperia, passed away, Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the spectrum Health Gerber Memorial Hospital in Fremont. John was born on January 9, 1949 in Muskegon to Alex and Isabell May (Wolf) Raczok Sr. John joined the United States Navy where he served until his retirement in March 1996. John moved back to the Hesperia area and had enjoyed mushroom hunting, being in the Michigan outdoors, shooting archery, playing cribbage and bowling and had competed at the National Pool Tournament in his younger years. John was an avid fisherman and was a member of the Hesperia American Legion. John is survived by his sisters and brothers, Ann Raczok of Spring Lake; Robert Raczok of Hesperia; Laura Nelson of Fremont; Victor (Mary) Raczok of Fremont; his nieces, Sara Nelson, Heidi Nelson, Renita (Joe) Foster, Jeanna Raczok, JoleAnn (Kevin) Miller; his nephews, Steve (Hillary) Nelson, Ryan (Angel Montoya) Nelson, Victor (Rachael) Raczok Jr., Richard (Rachael) Raczok; several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Isabell; his brothers, George Thomas Raczok Sr. and Alexander L. Raczok Jr.; his sister, Geraldine Michelle Raczok. VISITATION : Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel from 1-2pm with MILITARY RITES given at 2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel.
