Carrie passed away on February 9th, 2005 at the age of 35. Beloved wife of Rob Walter, her children David and Ashley Walter, her parents Frank & Kay Parsons, and siblings Cathy van Vliet, Cheryl Carter, and Chris Parsons...
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one, I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when the day is done, I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun, of happy memories that I leave behind ~ when the day is done.

Carry was my neighbour and extended family, and I often babysat her kids. She was a very upbeat person who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. She even stayed in good spirits through her battle with cancer. She is greatly missed.Tammy Buck (Simpson) (1993)
Carrie was my neighbor when I was a young child. She babysat me once in a while and later my mom married her big brother Chris Parsons. Through our trials and tribulations as an extended family, you grow to realize just how precious every single one is. Carrie had to leave us for reasons we will never know. Unfortunatly she was taken from many wonderful people. There isn't a day that goes by that she is not thought of. May we all say a little prayer for those beautiful children she had to leave behind and for her close family and friends that yearn to see her face again one day. May God Be With You. All our love. Tammy and Marlin Simpson and Family.Sarah Barnim (2000)
Carrie, you're always remembered and never forgotten. Family reunions are still strange with you not there with that big smile you always had.Forever missed, Sarah

For those of you who lost touch with Carrie after NDHS,here's she graduated from Sheridan College in the Legal Secretary program. Her 1st job after graduating was with a law firm in Brampton. She then moved back home and worked at a law firm in Simcoe and then married Rob Walter and they had 2 children, David now 13 & Ashley, who will be 8 in May. She then went on to work at John Park's Law office in Woodstock for 7 yrs specializing in Real Estate Law. She joined the law firm of Nesbitt Coulter in Woodstock, just a short 2 1/2 weeks before her untimely car accident. It was obvious that Carrie was very respected in her field, by the representation from law firms, banks, real estate offices and County Registrar's office at her funeral/visitation. Carrie's family miss her terribly.
