Dave was such a kind-hearted guy. Nicest you ever want to meet. We all loved and respected him. We miss having him in our lives.

I was a couple years ahead of Dave but played 3 sports with him and became good friends. Dave was as nice, kind and considerate a person as I have ever met. His work ethic was unbelievable. He was a lot of fun to be around. We went to the USA Olympic track and field trials when they were held in Eugene and had a great time.

He was my brother Juan's good friend after high school and it was a great loss to him and the whole Elguezabal clan. So many people have been missing Dave!

I know that he is in heaven because he was such a GOOD GUY.

My sympathies and best wishes to his family.

Julie

Julia,
Dave and Juan (John to me) were indeed good friends. Dave was GodFather to Juan's oldest daughter.

Several times, I have participated in our local Relay For Life fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. When I participate, I purchase luminaries for both guys and maneuver the candle bags to be side by side on the track. :o)

Thanks for your note!
Sherilyn
