She taught me English grammer which helped me pass a test to avoid taking basic English in college...It also helped me very much in my studies of German, French and Spanish. Grammer was the key...she left my mind open to the workings of language in general. I am glad that she lived to a very ripe age.
This sweet, unassuming teacher was one of the dearest people I knew. She was a good teacher who cared deeply about us. It wasn't just the grade; it was the future of her students. I'm so thankful that she was one of my teachers.
