Warren "Ed" Burt

Warren Edward "Ed" Burt, age 46, died at his home in Marysville, Washington. He was born May 10, 1960, in Anacortes, Washington, to Warren H. and Dorotha M. (Goodwin) Burt.
Ed, as his friends knew him, was raised as a military dependant and followed his father's Naval career. Ed graduated from Oak Harbor High School with the Class of 1978. He was married to the former Connie DeGraaf, of Oak Harbor for nearly ten years. He was a car buff, while living in Oak Harbor and enjoyed working on MOPAR (Chrysler) muscle cars. He attended Skagit Valley College Auto Mechanic program for several years to increase his knowledge of auto repairs.
Ed moved from Oak Harbor and began a twenty-five year career as an aerospace engineer with the Boeing Company at the Everett plant. He enjoyed golf, fishing and belonged to a pool team.
His daughter Jennifer Williamson, of Arlington, Washington; and one sister, Rebecca Hagemann, and husband Daryl, of Oak Harbor, survive Ed.
His parents, Warren and Dorotha Burt preceded him in death.
Memorial services for Ed Burt will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 3, 2007, at Burley Funeral Chapel, Oak Harbor, Washington, with Pastor Ron Eerkes of the New Covenant Fellowship Church officiating. Cremation was held with inurnment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
