Mary was a classic. As they say she didn't fall far from the tree of her family's wit and smarts. I teased her several times on how could she defend some of the people she did. She would just smile and say they deserved a fair trial. She defended MANY of the very public cases in Fond du Lac and I'd love to have heard some of the zings they got in private : )
