I attended Oregon State University, graduating with a degree in humanities in 1965. Fortunately my college activities included working on the campus newspaper and prepared me for a career with newspapers in Corvallis, Albany and Salem, Ore. Over the years I worked as a reporter, copy editor, section editor and page designer. Work was fun, filled with variety and new challenges on a regular basis. Nevertheless, RETIREMENT IS FABULOUS.

I am so sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. I remember her well, as well as her sister, Patty. I know she probably wouldn’t have remembered me. Few do. lol  I know she will be missed so much by all those whose life she touched. Condolences to her family, and may she rest peacefully in Heaven.

I'm sorry to hear of Mary's passing and am reminded that TODAY is all we have.My hope is that Mary enjoyed

I was so sorry to hear of Steve's death. He was memorable! Like Marilyn Fazio McQueen, I remember Steve's Elvis antics. One of my favorite memories is his re-telling an Elvis movie (can't remember which one for sure) complete with the songs, of course, and the backgrounds by the Jordanaires.
