One sweet, beautiful, smart woman!  We lost her too young!

Dede Laycock....very quiet and very sweet. I don't ever remember her saying anything without careful consideration. She was a very vulnerable, gentle spirit. I recall her going to China and upon her return, her "attempts" to teach me Chinese, with little success. She was very patient and we laughed a lot during this process.

I remember Dede as very smart, thoughtful, and brilliant!  I did not know her well but oddly enough I think of her often!  I NOW workout every M-W-F mornings at Hale's gym with her 89 year old mother...the oldest person at the workouts, bless her!  Someday, when I get the opportunity to bring Mrs. Laycock to class she and I will have a chat about Dede.

I remember Dede as one of my best friends. She and I clicked and there was a very interesting side to her also. It's great her mom is lasted so long. I was very saddened to hear of her death.
