I am sad to hear of Jack's passing. Jack invited me and several other Obies to participate inwhat he called "a non-liturgical religious multi media event" at the Akron Art Museum in the winter or early spring of 1971. We rehearsed hard, and he combined music, dance, slides, and poetry into an amazing event.  I believe we performed in one of the galleries.  Afterwards, Jack led a discussion with the audience, which foreshadowed his career in ministry.  As a second-year Oberlin student, Jack was able to draw out comments and questions from the audience, as I look back on it now, I see that Jack had a real gift there and in all the creative talent he brought to coordinating that event and drawing out reactions from the people in attendance. If anyone else was there, please add your comments. Jack was friendly, caring, inspiring, and talented. He truly blessed all around him.
