In school Clay and I were not really friends more like aquaintances. We became friends in our thirty's and I realized what a fun and kind man he had become. He was very charitable to alot of people. I wish we had been closer earlier in our lives. He is missed

It was rare to find Clay being too serious (when he wasn't on the water or in the woods that is) as he was constantly cutting up and making others laugh. He loved to tease the kids and even the cats and dogs... I was blessed to be his step-sister for 23 years - Sheri Long Henderson.
