Peggy F. Close Leesburg - Peggy Finger Close, 61, Leesburg, Florida went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 15th, 2023 in Ocala, Fl. Peggy was born on January 4th, 1962 in Ocala to Bill and Peggy Finger. Peggy was a graduate of Central Florida Community College with a degree in nursing. Peggy married Roland Close on July 3rd, 1981 and resided in Leesburg. Peggy was a registered nurse for LRMC working in home health across central Florida. She volunteered at First Baptist Church's Community Medical Care Center and served on multiple missions trips to places like Haiti and Alaska. She is survived by her 3 sons, John Mark Close (Tina), Jacob Close (Tara), and Joseph Close (Katie), 2 grandchildren (Ford & Palmer) and sisters, (Cindy Sparrow), (Celia Sattizahn) and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. A visitation will be held Saturday June 24th, 2023 at 930am followed by a service at 1030am at First Baptist Church Leesburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church Medical Care Center, Leesburg, Florida.
