Betty Mary Elliott Williams (b 2-18-1940; d 11-2-2013)

SPICEWOOD Betty Mary Williams, 73, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 2nd, 2013. She was born February 18, 1940, in Aspermont, Texas, to Raymond Alexander and Zula Lee (Starritt) Elliott. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Charles Elliott, and her son, James Oren Williams. 

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Joyce Sandberg and her husband Jeffrey James of Spicewood, Texas, and Sarah JoAnna Williams and her husband Richard Henry of Burnet, Texas, Joyce and Jeff's children, Jessica Snyder, Taylor Sandberg and Mariah Williams, and Jessica's children, Dylan and Tripp, along with Sarah's children, Paige Cheesman, Jonathan, Jacob and Payton Henry. She is also survived by her sisters, Lynda Kiser and Carolyn Bowen, and her brother, Bruce Elliot, and their families.

Betty graduated from Odessa High School in 1958 and received her Associate's Degree from Odessa College.
Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial will be held Saturday, November 9th, at Briarcliff Community Center in Spicewood, Texas, at 3pm and officiated by her brother-in-law, Gerrid Bowen.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Disease and Memory Disorders Center at Baylor College of Medicine, One Baylor Plaza, Houston, Texas 77030, in Betty's name.
