Beverly Jean Brewster (b.4-19-1940; d. 10-4-2003)

Beverly Jean Brewster of Odessa, TX,  passed away Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at Hospice House in Odessa. She was 63. Beverly was born April 19, 1940, in Brownwood, Texas, to A. E. Ben and B. Ernestine Brewster. Her family moved to Odessa in 1952. That same year, Beverly became a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
 

Beverly was a very intelligent woman, holding numerous degrees. Among her accomplishments, she held a B.A. in English, a Bachelors of Music and a Masters of Music degree, all earned through the University of Texas in Austin. Beverly had a lifelong love of music and literature.
 

Graveside services have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev Cheryl Homsher officiating.


Beverly is preceded in death by her father A.E. Ben Brewster in June 2003. Survivors include her mother, B. Ernestine Brewster of Odessa; brothers, Larry Tom Brewster and wife, Kay, of Sapulpa, Okla., Dennis Brewster and wife, Sally, of Abilene and Scott Brewster and wife, Mary, of Rio Rancho, N.M.; nieces and nephews, Sheila Brewster Armour and her husband, Donald, Sonya Brewster, Rhett Brewster and his wife, Danielle, Devin Brewster, Heidi Brewster Brantingham and her husband, Heath, and Heather Brewster; great-nieces and nephews, Zachary Zaloudek and Nathan Zaloudek, Eleah Brewster and Analeese Brewster.


In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church or Hospice House of Odessa.
