Fort Worth: Larry Stan Cox, 70, passed away Thursday, Oct 20, 2011.

 

Memorial service: 11 a.m. Monday at the family residence.

 

Memorials: Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Baylor Health Care System Foundation, 3600 Gaston Ave., Suite 100, Dallas, Texas 75246, for the benefit of bone marrow transplant research.

 

Larry was born April 25, 1941, in Fort Worth. He was an accomplished athlete and Racquetball player, and a member of the West Side Church of Christ. He retired in 1994 from AMOCO Production Company.

 

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Helen Cox.

 

Survivors: Wife, Linda Lee Cox; sons, Grant Howard Walker and wife, Terry and Larry Stan Cox Jr. and wife, Debbie; daughter, Fawn Cox Florez and husband, Lupe; brother, Celous Cox and wife, Basha; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
