Frederick Benjamin Sterling, OHS 1957

(b 10-8-1938 -- d 1-24-2016)

 

 

Frederick Benjamin Sterling, b.Oct. 8, 1938 passed away on Jan. 24, 2016 in Little Rock AR. at the age of 77 from complications as a result of Quadruple bypass surgery. He attended Texas A&M and Tarleton State before enlisting in the US Air Force

He retired after twenty years at the rank of TSGT proudly serving from Morocco Africa to Taiwan and from North Dakota to Bossier City LA and Little Rock AR, where he was retired.

 

Fred and Brenda King  (OHS class 0f 1958) were married in 1959, they had two sons. Mark wayne Sterling and Randy Lee Sterling. 

 

 Fred's and his second wife Joyce Tomlin were married in Little Rock in 1968. They had one son John Hays Sterling.

 

  Fred was the oldest of his three siblings:Jack Dunn Sterling, Gene Allen Sterling, and Barbara Ann Sterling (Browning) He will be missed by all his family.
