Matthew Franklin passed away December 19, 2022 in Odessa, TX. The family will gather and celebrate Matthew on Saturday February 11, 2023.

Matt was born on October 22, 1962 in Baton Rouge, LA.

Matt loved to swim, ski, go fishing and go on adventures with his children. Matt had a huge heart and always had a smile on his face. He never judged anyone or hesitated to help someone in need. He was a brother and father figure to many.

He is survived by his two children Matthew and Matison; his mother Martha McGill; his sister Kathy Eggar; his brother Craig Franklin; and his nieces and nephews.

Hes preceded by his father Roy, his brother Buddy, his best friend Mackey Houser and the mother of his children Melissa Franklin.
