Trina Reneé Plyler, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 20, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Trina was born on January 24, 1963, in Midland, Texas, and her life's journey was marked by unwavering love, boundless compassion, and remarkable resilience.

Trina was the eldest of three siblings and enjoyed a happy childhood in Odessa, Texas. Growing up, she cherished the close-knit bonds of family and faith and loved attending church with her family at Eisenhower Church of Christ. Summers were a time of joy, spent at the family lake house, creating cherished memories with her siblings and laying the foundation for a life filled with love and togetherness.

In 1982, she embarked on a lifelong journey with her loving husband, Bruce Plyler. Together, they moved to Mineral Wells in 1990, where they planted their roots and raised a beautiful family. Alongside her biological children, she warmly welcomed two adopted children into her family, becoming an inspiration for others to embrace the beauty of adoption as well. Trina's devotion to her family was evident in every aspect of her life, as she poured her heart and soul into nurturing her children and grandchildren.

Many knew Trina as "Sugar Britches" the clown. She brought joy to countless children through her work at birthday parties and special events. But beyond the laughter and smiles, Trina's true legacy was her founding of "Change," a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting those in need. Her commitment to helping others was boundless, from offering drug counseling and parenting classes to providing a tent and a warm meal to someone in need. She was the living embodiment of Christ's teachings, the hands and feet of Jesus, tirelessly serving her community with love and compassion.

Trina's deep love for Christ was at the core of her life and her service to the community. Her faith was a guiding light that illuminated her path, and she shared that light with everyone she met.

Trina's life took an unexpected turn in 2015 when she was diagnosed with colon cancer. Despite the challenges she faced, she remained a pillar of strength, never ceasing to fight for her family and community. Her unwavering determination and indomitable spirit served as an inspiration to all who knew her.

Trina is survived by her devoted husband, Bruce Plyler, her loving parents, George and Jurlean Warren, her children Justin and Amanda Plyler, Jordan and David Grover, Jorey and Valorie Plyler, Alivia and Cameron McCracken, and Ethan Plyler, her siblings Johnny and Karla Warren and Tanya Nichols, and her cherished grandchildren, Carson, Jayla, Kashlynn, Rhys, Greyson, Robin, Layla, Ace, and River. She was affectionately known as "Honey" by her grandchildren, and her love extended to many others who considered her "Mom."

Trina also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were touched by her kindness, strength, and unwavering support. Her impact on the community is immeasurable, and her memory will forever be engraved in our hearts.

In her final battle, Trina fought with the heart of a warrior, never giving in to despair. She remained a beacon of hope, a symbol of resilience, and an embodiment of love and faith until her last breath. Trina Reneé Plyler will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the entire community she dedicated her life to serving. A memorial service to celebrate Trina's life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 30th, at her church home, Southside Church of Christ, located at 1401 SE 26th Ave, Mineral Wells, TX 76067. This will be an opportunity for family and friends to come together and honor the remarkable life of a woman who touched so many hearts.
