Such a nice person.  I can tell by his smile that he stayed that way.

So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I had several classes with Larry and I considered him a friend. Was always so nice and courteous to all the girls. He had this to die for smile that you would swoon over. Can't believe he lived in Concan. I lived in Uvalde for years! Such a beautiful area! He will be missed by many. R.I.P. Larry!

Jimmy Hill and I were 12 years old playing in a tennis tournament in Sweetwater Texas. We did well and then came across 2 Odessa players, one slightly routund by the  names of Brownlee and Burgin. They beat the hell ,out of us, and Larry and I begn a lifelong friendship. He was a great tennis player and went on to coach tennis and win a State championship, no small feat. One day outof the blue, he called me at my shop and asked if we could have lunch. We talked for hours and we back to the shop and talked some more. It  was like kids again in Sweetwater Texas. He assured me he was coming to the reunion and about a week before I called and his wife informed me of his passing. She told me he was really looking forward to seeing old friends. As we grow old, it seems memories are all we have left of our younger days. Larry was a great friend and I will always remember him
