Odessa-Norman Key Elms, 61, of Odessa, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Alliance Hospital. He was born September 3, 1945, in Lawton, OK, to Alf and Berdina Key and not long after was adopted by Clarence and Lorene Elms.

He was a graduate of Odessa High School and Odessa College. Classical Music was his great love. He attended the Manhattan School of Music, and the Fontainbleau Conservatory in Paris. He played a concert in Carnegie Hall in New York City. He also worked with computers and he loved to travel. His mind was as if everything was pre-recorded: like an audio encyclopedia.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his brother, Bill Elms and his wife Anita of Odessa, sisters, Maxine Newton of Odessa and Doris Roberson of Fort Worth, a half-brother, Kenneth Key of Lawton, OK, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2007, at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels or Catholic Charities.
