Lanis Marie Babcock, 51, of Odessa
passed away Thursday,Feb.25,1999,
at her residence.Graveside services
will be at 4 p.m.Saturday,Feb,27,
1999,at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
The Rev.Jack Watkins will officiate.
Arrangements are by Frank W.Wilson
Funeral Directors.
Mrs.Babcock was born March 4,1947,
in Monahans. In 1948,she and her
family moved to Odessa.She married
Robert Babcock,November 24,1970 in
Riverside,California.
She loved to paint and was very
talented with arts and crafts.
She also loved to camp and fish.
She was a member of Temple Baptist
Church.

I did not know Lanis, but I do know that she attended Permian through her junior year and then transferred to OHS for her senior year. She is buried in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Odessa.

She is survived by: her parents, W.L. and Pearl Harrison of Odessa;
her husband, Robert E. Babcock of Odessa; one son, Lewis Lynn Babcock
of Odessa; one stepdaughter, Dinise Farr of Odessa; one sister, Debbie
Watkins of Odessa; one brother, Randy Harrison of Odessa; and one
grandchild, Paige Farr of Odessa. She also leaves several nieces and
nephews.
