Glenna was born an Okie’s daughter in Seminole Oklahoma on July 12th 1947. They soon moved to Texas and stayed in Odessa the rest of their lives. She married Buster Anderson and became the mother of three children. As her children grew up she began working for Albertsons Grocery. Little did she know it would become a 46 year career. She never met a stranger as they say. She made many friends along the way. Everyone knew Glenna from Albertsons, the bowling alley or maybe from the Wednesday night “safety meeting.” You for sure knew her from any playing field where her grand or great grand we’re playing. She was the “official score keeper” and gave “almost points” so all the littles were high scorers. You knew she was there when you saw her red Chevy truck. She was always the biggest fan. She loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers play. One of her favorite pastimes was fishing and camping. She usually kept the red Chevy loaded and ready. She had a special way to bait the hook and if they were bitting she was catching . Didn’t matter what size of type of fish. She absolutely love Christmas time. She always decorated her house interior with what seems like a million decorations. Everything had its place in a Christmas wonderland. She was a member of Unit 403 American Legion Auxiliary of Odessa and American Legion Riders. She always found time to with school activities at Austin Montessori and Odessa High. She was the very best daughter, sister, mother, Granny, and friend. The person you called if you needed help, or a shoulder to cry on. She would be there. She will be missed. Rest In Peace Mama.
