Kenneth Ray “Kenny” McComas, 79, of Arlington, Texas passed away on April 16, 2026.
Kenny was born in Seminole, Texas on September 11, 1946, and raised in Odessa, Texas. He was the son of Homer and Wilma McComas. He was a 1965 graduate of Odessa High School.
He worked for General Tire for 15 years before moving to Arlington in 1985, where he became a Realtor. He had a successful real estate career for over 20 years, winning multiple awards and gathering lifelong friends. It was then that he fortuitously crossed paths with his future wife, Cindy. He and Cindy became partners in real estate and in life.
They married on February 18, 1989. Kenny was passionate about many things, but she was his greatest treasure and the love of his life. They were blessed with 37 years of marriage and he became a second father to his stepdaughter, Tiffany. He loved all of his children without measure.
He was a lover of NASCAR, photography, and motorcycle races. He loved working on cars, motorcycles and anything that had moving parts. He could tear them down, fix them, or build them from scratch. He was a gearhead deluxe and consummate tinkerer. There is nothing (he thought) he couldn’t fix. He was the go-to guy for anyone who needed help, and he had the knowledge and skill to do just about anything.
Kenny had a charming, magnetic personality. He was quite the jokester and was responsible for many an eyeroll from his children and grandchildren (and usually his wife). He was a country western dancer par excellence, and all the ladies wanted to dance with him.
But mainly, he was a man of extreme faith, reading and studying his Bible daily. He and Cindy watched Rush Creek Church online every Sunday morning.
Kenny is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, D.D. Hendricks. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Saied McComas; his children, Lonnie McComas, Becky Allen and her husband, Michael; his stepdaughter, Tiffany Leschber and her husband, Dave; his grandchildren, Austin, Sarah Ann, Luke, Cassidy and Jonah. He is also survived by his brother, Donnie McComas and his wife, Debbie, and two nieces and two nephews.
Kenny was a lover of life, a lover of fun, and a lover of his family and friends. But most of all, he was a lover of God.
At Kenny's request, there will be no memorial service.
