Art passed away from the effects of a stroke following the OHS 15 year reunion.  Art attended the reunion but was reported to be ill.   He returned home to Houston and shortly was hospitalized.    Art was an Honorable Mention Allstate Lineman at OHS and he had attended SMU on a football scholarship.  He and his wife, Pat Dudley were the parents of three daughters.  Art was a gentle man off the field but played football with zest on the field. Art was working as a design engineer at the time of his death.  Art is buried in the Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston.  Art passed on too soon and I know he would have been a success at what ever he chose to do.
