Recia Capps, 57, of Loraine, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2005, in an Abilene hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Colorado City Cemetery with the Doctor Sammy Elliot officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Capps was born August 28, 1947, in Odessa to J.L. and Recia Arnold Shults. She married Jack Capps Aug. 1, 2003, in Loriane. She enjoyed woodcraft, ceramics and she loved life.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Capps of Loraine; her mother, Recia Shults of Loraine; one stepdaughter, Olivia Omega Capps of Odessa; four stepsons, Michael P. Capps of Houston, Jack C. Capps of Abilene, and James D. Capps and Joshua Lee Capps, both of Odessa; two brothers, James Earl Shults of Ruston, La., and Larry Eugene Shults of Aurora, Colo.; three aunts, Emily Kiser of Bangs, and Gertrude Johnston and Myrtle Collins, both of Odessa; two uncles, James Lloyd Shults of Hobbs, N.M., and David Arnold of Colorado City; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews
She was preceded in death by her father, and brother John Shults.
