Ava Lavonne Bennett, 73, nee Goins, of San Angelo, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020.
Graveside services and interment were held Thursday, Nov. 5, at the Squaw Creek Cemetery, east of Doss, with the Rev. James Jones officiating.

Mrs. Bennett was born July 19, 1947, in Fredericksburg, the daughter of A.J. Goins and Evelyn Baethge Goins. She married Calvin Bennett in 1969 in Seminole. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Bennett grew up in Odessa, graduating from Odessa High School in 1965.
Over the years, she worked at Allsup’s, Dollar General, Sitel and with home health care.

She is survived by two sons, Allan Bennett and Michael Bennett, both of San Angelo; two grandchildren; her mother, Evelyn Goins, and her brother, Mark Goins, both of Fredericksburg.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Goins and Larry Goins, and her father.
