After PHS pursued my love for aviation, worked for the Commemorative Air Force 6yrs & joined the Civil Air Patrol. Started flight school at Midland College & decided perhaps being a pilot was not for me after all. Decided not to enlist in the USAF & began to search for a different career path. Moved to Pensacola Florida for 9yrs in search of what God would have for me - went to the University of West Florida earned a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Resort & Tourism Management. Had an internship at P'cola Raquetball Club & also at Walt Disney World were I lived, worked and played for 6 months. Returned to Midland in 2006 & began working for Mid-Cities Church & Safe Place (shelter for domestic violence victims & children.) Developed a back injury that put me in Health South Rehab for an entire month last Summer of 2011 & then on a walker for a year. I needed surgery, but had gained too much weigh to survive the surgery needed. Most recently, Apr-July 2012 went to Durham North Carolina to get help losing weight safely w/my injuries at the World Renowed Duke Diet & Fitness Center & pleased to say it worked & I'm stronger & walker free....the journey continues to building a stronger/healthier body hopefully without surgery. We will see where the future leads?...
