Rose Marie Berry (Ford)

Marie passed away on June 25th 2013.  Shef us saw  will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, goodness, and firm testimony of Jesus Christ.  She also was an example of courage and strength.  She used her public speaking gifts in the LDS church callings with young adults and in community service opportunities with at-risk youth.  She also enjoyed and treasured her time as a worker in the Salt Lake Temple.  She loved her family and spent much time at ballet recitals, band concerts and other performances.  She was living in Salt Lake City, before a short stay in a Care Center in Bountiful.  Many of us saw her in commercials for Care Centers of Utah.  She is survived by her sister Tersea and Bill Farley.  Her daughter Amy Marie and Joe Hansen, her son Stephen David and Eva Mills. She also leaves behind 6 much loved grandchildren.  She had the opportunity to live in many different places including France  and Hawaii.  She was buried in the Bringham City Cemetery.

Rosie was a kick! Brent Wallis and I used to visit her when she'd stay with her Grandma, who lived right next to Kramer's Hot Dog stand on Grant Avenue. We'd have hot dogs and ice cold Nehi Orange drinks then sit on her grandma's lawn and visit and laugh. She was always good for an infectious giggle.. I guess it was easier for a couple of South Ogden boys to go there than to her home in Roy. She was always so proper, she'd probably have a fit if she knew that among her friends she was known as "Rosie-Bum".

Marie & I shared a wonderful friendship starting with ballet at age 5. Our moms became friends also. I always admired her, she was so adorable and had a sparkling personality. I remember when she moved to France. She sent me a beret which I still have. I missed her so much and was so happy when she moved back. We always kept in touch until we didn't.......Will always remember the last time I saw her at Darlene's home in St. George where we were having a "sisters" get together. She drove by herself and stayed all day and then went home that evening. Very special for us that she came all that way for just a few hours. I will always remember her, that smile and the laughter and most of all the friendship.   Love you Rosie.....

Rosie was such a unique person...always a giggle and something fun going on. She was beautiful inside and out and I can't imagine anyone not loving her. Too bad to hear she's gone.
