Clayton Raynor Whittemore

Clayton Raynor Whittemore 59 passed away November 29, 2021 at home with his loving daughter. Clayton was born May 16, 1962 in Ogden Utah to Byron Lee and Patricia Isis Whittemore. Clayton attended Weber High School where he set many school records in football and wrestling. Clayton married Wendy Lou Thompson in 1985. Together they had Allison Nicole Whittemore. Allison was his pride and joy! Wendy and Clay later divorced. On July 7, 2007 he married Nancy Moore. Clayton owned C.W Construction. He was an amazing Excavator. He took pride in building beautiful rock walls. Clayton did the excavating for the John Paul Lodge and men’s downhill ski run at Snow Basin for the 2002 Winter Olympics in Huntsville, Utah. Clayton loved being in the mountains. His second home was Sunridge surrounded by family and friends by the campfire. Clayton loved snow skiing and was the most impressive skier on the mountain. He loved snowmobiling with family and friends. Going to Yellowstone was a family tradition every winter. Clayton was so athletic, he would waterski like there was no tomorrow. He enjoyed our Summer trips to Lake Powell and boating on “Pats Foley”. Clayton was an avid hunter and fisherman. Clayton would ride his Harley Davidson pushing it to the limits. One of his favorite things was riding with his brothers who he loved dearly. Clayton is survived by his daughter Allison Nicole Whittemore and his dearly loved step children that he considered his own. Autumn Barton (Darin), Jacob Brewer (Meagan), Brandon Musselman (Alyssa), Amanda Gonzalez (Able). As well as two sisters Linda Myers (Bill), Cathy Prettyman (Jamie). 12 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Clayton was the best “Papa” ever. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Parents and Brother in Law Greg Russell. Funeral Services will be held Sunday December 12th 2021 with a viewing at 4PM and funeral to follow at 5PM at Premier Funeral Home 5335 South 1950 West Roy, Ut 84067. Clayton had the biggest heart. He loved everyone, especially his B.F.F Tyty. He will be deeply missed. The family has set up a memorial account under Clayton Whittemore Memorial #9122185 at America First Credit Union for donations to help with costs.
