1959 - 2003

Jerry Wayne Barnard, returned home to his Heavenly Father on July 3, 2003 of injuries received in a paragliding accident newar Stockton, Utah.  He was born March 18, 1959 in Ogden, Utah. Jerry lived his childhood in Ogden, graduating from Ogden High School and attending Weber State College. He was employed as vice president of Custom Auto Finance at Bank One, Salt Lake City. Jerry was a devoted father and an avid outdoorsman. He shared his sense of adventure and love of the outdoors with his four sons. Jerry was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was devoted to his parents. 

Jerry is survived by his sons, Taylor, Trenton, Tyler, Treven Barnard, Stansbury Park, Utah; parents, Wayne and Elaine Barnard, Ogden, Utah; brothers, Dale (Vickie) Barnard, Nibley, Utah, Denis (Angelina) Barnard. Layton, Utah; and grandmother, Mae Child, Ogden, Utah.

Visitation and services will be held on July 8, 2003.  Interment Hooper Cemetery.
