Lyle Rees

Lyle Frederick Rees, 15, of 3107 Polk, was found dead Wednesday, January 22, 1975 at his home of a gunshot wound.

He was born June 19, 1959, in Salt Lake City, a son of Dr. J. Richard and Marilyn Norman Rees.

He had lived in Ogden the past 3 1/2 years.  Prior to that time, he had lived in New York City for three years, and with his mother in California.

He was a student at Ogden High School.

Surviving are his father and step-mother of Ogden; his mother of San Jose, California; one brother and two sisters, Richard D.M. Rees, Wendi Ann Rees and Kelly Elizabeth Rees, all of Ogden; his grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Don M. Rees, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Etta Mae Norman, Cupertino, California; Mr. and Mrs. George Long, West Springfield, Massachusetts.

Graveside service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Wales Cemetery in Wales, Utah.

Friends may call at Lindquist and Sons Mortuary in Ogden Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Heart Fund.
