1959 - 1985

David Z. Lucero, 26, of Monroe, died Monday November 18, 1985, in Ogden of injuries.

He was born February 19, 1959, in Ogden, a son of Orlando B. "Walt" and Helen Lopez Lucero.

He married Lori Cowan on January 11, 1979 in Ogden.  He was a life-long resident of Ogden and attended Ogden High School.  He had worked as a roofer for the Redd Roofing Company.  He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.  He also built and raced cars at the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Surviving are his widow of North Ogden and one daughter, Nicole Lucero, North Ogden; is parents of Ogden; five brothers and three sisters, Thomas Lucero, Frank Lucero, Bill Lucero, Andrew Lucero, Michael Lucero, Mrs. Robert (Mary Ann) Quintana, Juanita Lucero, all of Ogden; Mrs. Tony (Catherine) Merez, Bakersfield, California.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Friday ay 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church.  Holy Rosary will be offered at 8 p.m. in the Larkin & Sons Mortuary where friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Interment in the Ogden City Cemetary.
