OGDEN - Jerry Dean Feller, 31, of 1032 East 125 South, died Wednesday, August 22, 1990 at the McKay Dee Hospital of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born January 5, 1959 in Ogden a son of Melvin Samuel & Rose Marie Burkhardt Feller.
He married Jenice Macfarlane September 5, 1984, in the Logan LDS Temple.
He was a member of the Ogden 71st LDS Ward where he had been a Deacon's Quorum advisor, and was serving as Elder's Quorum President. He had served a Mission to Frankfurt Germany.
He was employed as a licensed clinical social worker at the McKay Dee Institute for Behavioral Medicine and was a member of the McKay Dee Crisis team. He was adjunct professor at Weber State College and a clinical faculty member at the University of Utah Graduate School of Social Work. He had previously worked with Hooper and Willard group homes.
He had a special gift for working with youth. He enjoyed a full life of service to others. We will miss his sense of humor.
Surviving are his wife of Ogden, two sons and one daughter: Joshua Z.M. Feller, Benjamin S. Feller and Adrie Ann Feller, all of Ogden; his parents of Ogden; two brothers and two sisters: Melvin Feller, South Ogden; Brent Feller of Ogden; Mrs. Tom (Rose Marie) Freed of Layton; and Mrs. Troy (Suzette) Smith of Glendale, California.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. in the Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden where friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Jerry D. Feller Memorial Scholarship, c/o Weber State College, Development Office, Ogden, Utah 84408-1008
Interment in the evergreen Memorial Park.
